I am happy to learn that the Andhra Pradesh chapter of the Indian Society for Study of Pain is organizing a series of CME programs called the Traveling Pain School. The ambit and direction of the program is to spread the message about the advantages of effective management of pain to budding pain specialists. The CME’s to be held across the various towns and cities of Andhra Pradesh will impart the most relevant training to the upcoming specialists in the field of pain management. All the same, it will help alleviate the pain of sufferers. I wish them well in their endeavours.

Caring for the most vulnerable of our patients by managing pain well and ameliorating the human suffering are the most important ethical imperative .It gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction in acknowledging the noble humanitarian pioneering education initiative called “Travelling pain school” by the Andhra Pradesh chapter of Indian society for study of pain under the aegis of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (A.P). It is certainly going to increase the competency in aspiring younger pain specialists and continuing medical educations (CMES) across the state will facilitate them to keep abreast with the best management of pain.

I wish them the very best in their novel Endeavour in relieving distress and pain from the face of humanity at large.
